How good is good enough? If going to heaven was all about being good how would we measure who was good enough? There is a plan of salvation that is outlined in the book of Romans. Let’s take a look:

Romans 3:23 say’s, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”…Our sin separated us from God

Romans 6:23 say’s “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” …The penalty for our sin is death

Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”…..Our sin debt was paid by Jesus Christ

Romans 10: 9-10, 13 says, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For "whoever calls on the nameof the LORD shall be saved."

A prayer of salvation would include the acknowledgement of your sins, the confessions of those sins and the accepting of Jesus as the Only One who can save you.

We want to encourage you to find a Bible teaching church and fulfill 1 Peter 2:2, “Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation” (NIV)
